Malahat Battery Technologies is a British Columbia and Ontario registered corporation formed by Malahat Nation and Energy Plug Technologies. Malahat Battery Technologies is focused on the supply and building a facility to assemble energy storage systems and technology for projects across North America.

Energy Plug Technologies Corp. is the managing partner dedicated to originating, administrating and communicating the Malahat Battery Technologies vision of innovation and environmental sustainability for the delivery of commercial, industrial and utility energy storage applications.

Our BESS partner, SEETEL, is a leading energy storage provider based in Taiwan and has installed 230 MW in multiple energy grid projects.

Together the MBT EPT SEETEL partnership will focus to provide customizable battery module design and energy management systems (EMS) for large-scale energy storage integration.

Jonathon Redbird

Over two decades of experience, primarily working for First Nation Government. Jon is a a Band member of the Ontario Saugeen First Nation, a part of the Anishinaabe peoples. Jon is President of the Nations Finance Corp which owns part of the Bruce to Milton $500 M Hydro Transmission line.
